The Horticulture class went on a field trip today to Rocky Waters vineyard. The Spahn family were excellent hosts as they showed the students how to hand pick the grapes and then how the grape combine worked. They also got to see how the grapes are processed into wine and fermented.

If you could be a fly on the wall in our AP English literature classroom, you would see and hear the amazing analytical thinking and writing that comes out of these seniors. These are their thoughts from their summer readings of Aldous Huxley's Brave New World, Richard Wright's Black Boy, and Alice Walker's The Color Purple. These students are your future and I couldn't be more proud or confident in the "work" they will do in the world. (Names are blocked out and they gave me permission to share.) #RRproud
