The RRSM golf team had a difficult week against some tough competition. On 8/19, the varsity fell short of Fulton by 12 strokes. Camden Flack and Joseph Winter led the team with a pair of 39's. Today, the varsity lost against Eastland/Milledgeville by only 2 strokes in which Joseph Winter shot a team low 40 and was the match medalist runner-up. The RRSM girls had their first match tonight as well but, unfortunately, fell short by 21 strokes. Rori Distler led all girl scorers with a round of 54, and Brook Bradberry shared the runner-up position with a 58.

Tickets Available for the 10th Annual Northwest Illinois Daily Drawing
The highly anticipated 10th Annual Northwest Illinois Daily Drawing is back, offering a chance to win cash prizes while supporting local nonprofits. To celebrate the 10th anniversary, 5 new $500 prizes will be awarded.
River Ridge Drama Dept. has tickets for this year’s drawing \ now on sale, with options to purchase 5 for $100 or an individual ticket for $25.
From October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025, ticket holders are eligible for 365 daily cash drawings. Prizes range from $50 to $500, with a total payout of $22,900. Notably, each ticket remains in the drawing for the entire year, giving ticket holders daily chances to win. Contact Nurse Lisa, or Mr. Dickman for tickets.

The RRSM golf team started the season off with a 2nd place finish at the Eastland/Milledgeville Invite, and Sam Rife placed 3rd place overall as an individual!
