Thank you to everyone who donated to this year's FFA Food drive! You beat last years total by almost 100 pounds! We were able to bring just over 750 pounds of donated items to the Elizabeth Food Pantry. thank you for your generosity!

Lunch this week!
Knife skill and safety are an important part of being in the kitchen and in foods class. Students practiced 8 different knife cuts throughout the week. They made fresh salsa and apple crisp to help practice their measurements and accuracy.
The River Ridge AFS/International Club hosted 13 exchange students from 12 different t countries last week. Activities included high school and middle school presentations, pot luck dinner, and field trips to Galena, Dubuque, The Elizabeth Fire Department, Dittmar Farms, and The Antique Mall.

Seniors in consumer education have been working on crafting resumes and cover letter to prepare them for entering the workforce after high school or college. Students participated in interviews with local business professionals to help the learn and practice job interviewing. They even dress up for the occasion! Nice work seniors!
