The FFA Chapter hosted Ag Day today! Elementary classes were invited to the high school to go through different agriculture statins. Students got to see farm animals, race hoppy horses, plant a flower to take home, learn about an ag topic in the Ag Education room and see tractors. They ended the day with an ice cream treat, it was a fun day for everyone!
The results for the IHSA State Music Sweepstakes are in, and with our combined points from Solo and Ensemble and Large Group; the River Ridge Wildcats tied for First Place and brought home a back to back state championship for the school! Results from Large Group: Concert Band Division 1, Jazz Band Division 2, Mixed Choir Division 1, Treble Choir Division 1! Congratulations to our High School Musicians on such a wonderful achievement!

2026/27 Online Registration is now open. Online Registration will be open from April 1-April 30th. Parents, please log into your Skyward Family Access account and complete the 3 REQUIRED Registration steps: 26/27 Registration: District Info, 26/27 Registration: Consent Forms and 26/27 Registration: Health Info. Sandwich unit is always a fun one for foods class. We had a little chopped competition to see who could come up with the best sandwich, with a few required ingredients they had to use. Student also learned the importance of directions and portion control when attempting to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
The big day is TOMORROW! We are so close to our goal for the Impact Life Blood drive at River Ridge!
We currently have 23 heroes signed up, but we need just a few more to ensure we hit our minimum for the Life Savings grant in case anyone gets deferred. This grant helps fund student scholarships and vital classroom/curriculum needs—let’s make sure our kids get every bit of support they deserve!
It takes less than an hour to save up to three lives. Can you spare the time to be a hero?

It's game day and Senior Night! 🥎
The FFA Plant Sale is just 4 days away! Come out to the school greenhouse to get your baskets, bedding plants and vegetables. We have a variety of peppers, tomatoes and herbs as well as many different succulents, petunias, lobelia, verbena, spikes, vinca vine, sweet potato vine and more!
Girls' Track is cancelled for tonight.

Foods and Nutrition class welcomed guest speakers from the Army National Guard to learn about and taste test MREs. Students had a chance to learn about the national guard, the preparation, cost and nutrition of MREs.
