The River Ridge High School Student Council will be hosting a Winter Formal on Saturday January 10th. Out of town guest forms can be pick up with Mrs. Koester and are due January 7th. Any questions please see the Sophomore class officers or Mrs. Koester.

Seniors in Consumer Education participated in two food labs to learn about simple recipes to cook for one person and to compare and make a healthier version of a fast food item.








Elementary Winter Concert is Weds, Dec 17 at 6:00 p.m. Check out the arrivals time, dismissal procedure and what you can expect to help this year's concert run smoothly.

Lunches this week!

Several River Ridge students volunteered at Galena's Luminaria event on Sunday, Dec. 14. The students helped remove the old candles, and prep the Luminaria bags and boxes for next year. 6th Graders in FACS this quarter made and treated stains during their laundry unit. BUT were only able to use common household product to treat them. What is your go to for getting stains out of your clothes?





7th Grade FACS students finished their hand sewing unit, they have now moved onto sewing with the sewing machine and are making their own pillow cases!



Head lice are common in school-aged children. Please remind your children not to share hats, coats, or hair brushes. Here is a helpful guide for combing out the nits (eggs). If you have any questions or concerns contact Nurse Haas.


The Foods class has been making gingerbread houses this week to get in the holiday spirit! Stop by at the Christmas Concerts coming up this week and Vote for your favorite!
