The FFA Meet and Greet had another great turn out this year! Twenty one students from our school joined the 15 other schools from our section to play corn hole, kickball, spike ball and a little volleyball. It was a nice chance ro meet FFA members from other schools and kick off the new year!
The Horticulture class started the Floral Design unit this week! They are learning the basics of the color wheel and did an activity where they frosted vanilla wafers to make a color wheel and show triadic, analogous and complementary colors.
Do you have an abundance of produce in your garden and tired of canning. The River Ridge Foods class would be happy to take it off your hands as we learn canning and knife skills in the coming weeks. Please let Mrs. Koester know in advance if you have produce you would like to donate to our classroom. You can send your produce to school with a student or drop off in the office or make arrangements with Mrs. Koester. Thank you!
