Shhhh...don't tell the teachers and staff! Next week, May 5-9, is River Ridge Staff Appreciation Week! We will be celebrating our dedicated and talented staff all week and want you to be a part of it. You'll find 5 different ways to celebrate your favorite teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, janitors, secretaries and nurse- bring a flower, a note or picture of appreciation, a favorite memory, an idea for the summer and a thank you note! Choose one idea or all of them and let's show our staff how much we appreciate them!

Congratulations to Sawyer Fry on being elected as the Section One FFA President for 2025-2026! He is now a part of the State FFA Officer team and will be a at leader at events such as





6th Grade finished up their laundry unit by attempting to treat different stains using household products. Permanent marker continues to be the most difficult, guess we will have to see if next years students can successful remove it.

The Junior-Senior Banquet was held Friday, April 25th, in the River Ridge commons where a delicious meal was served, senior remember whens and what ifs were shared, and where prom court was announced. The "Casino Night: Suits and Ties" 2025 Prom was held Saturday, April 26th, at the Territory Owners' Club. Grand March was at 7:30pm showcasing all prom attendees. The king and queen were announced then, too. All seemed to have had a great evening. Thank you to parents who continued the night with after prom activities!

Basketball Camp for boys and girls, grades 2-8! Sign up is due May 21!


The Intro to Ag class has a successful year hatching chicks! 34 of the 36 eggs hatched this year! The chicks will be a part of the elementary Ag Day this Friday and then will go home with students. from the class.


The Army National Guard came in to speak with the foods class about nutrition and MREs . Students used the pantry and the ready to eat meals to compete in Chopped and make creative dishes. They were then judged on taste, creativity and appearance.











Citizens State Bank came in to the Money Management class to play a game of Financial Jeopardy. Pictured here is the winning team that came from behind to win in the Final Jeopardy round!
