Right before winter break the RRMS Science Club completed their dissection projects.... owl pellets, cow eyes, and frogs! Their favorite part was what they discovered in the frog's' stomach.... Many more adventures coming soon! A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers!
RRMS Students enjoyed their second quarter merit trip last week. Bowling and pizza followed by a movie and popcorn... always a crowd pleaser!

The RRMS Science Club will be on the move Monday, February 17th! We will be traveling to the Chicago Auto Show to learn about the latest automotive technology and much more! Sign up ends January 31st. Members need to contact Mrs. Alaina Klippert with inquiries.

7th Grade Mini FACS students finished up sewing their Pillow Cases to end the semester! They look great, nice work!
Preschool Screening is coming! Mark your calendars! March 19 and 20 are the big days for screening. If you have a child (or know a child) born between 9/2/20-9/1/22, they are eligible for FREE Preschool at River Ridge. To sign up for screening and start the process, give us a call at (815) 858-9005 to get the required paperwork.

Congratulations to all of our Super Spellers who spelled their hearts out today at the spelling bee! After many rounds of challenging words, our top two spellers were Sydney (2nd place) and Ben (1st place)! Much thanks to Jason Thomasson of Apple River State Bank and Paula Olson of Citizens State Bank for awarding prizes to our two winners!

Consumer Education students had a mini unit over food and nutrition. They made food for living on their own and made healthy versions of fast food.
