These juniors and seniors volunteered at the Elizabeth Museum and train depot after today's early dismissal. They did yard work and prepped the flower bed outside, plus vacuumed and washed display cases inside. Recruiter and retired RRMS educator Kim Thorsen stated, "The place is ready for customers. These folks were phenomenal! Proud to be a Wildcat!" Yesterday the Business Class traveled to the Elizabeth Business Hub to participate in a planning meeting for the upcoming Spring Fling. The Energize Elizabeth group posted these photos and noted that "the students brought endless energy, inspiring creativity and innovative ideas that left everyone in awe." The collaboration will continue up to the event on May 4th. Thanks to the Elizabeth Chamber and Citizens State Bank for giving our students this wonderful real-life opportunity to put their business skills to use while giving back to their community.

Interesting week in Elementary...Helm has been here working rewiring thermostats and has been spending a lot of time at the top of the ladder working in the ceiling tiles. As classes have walked by, the kids asked "What's he doing up there?" to which I replied "Oh, he's looking for leprechauns." Guess what?! Our friend from Helm found not only an ornery leprechaun up in the ceiling, but also his best friend, Elf on the Shelf! He was able to capture the leprechaun and save us from St Patrick's Day pranks. The kids were amazed and we all enjoyed the fun!

The elf was spotted in the elementary ceiling today.
Uh oh! There's a leprechaun hiding in the ceiling too!
Fortunately Helm was here working and was able to catch the leprechaun before he did much damage.
The elf came to visit his St Patrick's Day friend.
Our friend from Helm saved the day by catching the rascals!
