The Horticulture class finished up their wreaths this week. They did a great job!



Congratulations to Nick Cobine on his 1st place finish at the section FFA AgEd Leadership Development Event (LDE)! For this contest he created a lesson plan, lesson materials and assessment and then was judged on teaching a 10 minute portion of the lesson plan. He also was graded on answering self-reflection questions. He will now move on to the district event in February!

Yesterday, the 8th grade had the opportunity to visit the CTE for their Career Exploration Fest! Students rotated throughout the building to meet industry professionals and try some hands-on activities related to careers like drawing on a professional art tablet, making electrical circuits, and more. A huge thank you to the CTE staff for organizing the event and to the professionals who took time out of their days to spend time with our students!

Congratulations to the FFA Greenhand Quiz Bowl team on their first place finish at the section contest last night! They are now qualified for the State competition that occurs in June during the State FFA Convention in Springfield. We are very proud of our team; Carson Dodd, Jason Lucas, Wyatt Ritchie, Ella Dittmar, Hayden Diehl and Bronx Gonzalez.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this year's FFA canned food drive! We were able to donate 658 pounds of non-perishable items, which is 200 pounds more than last year, to the Elizabeth Food Basket! The third graders collected the most donations, they celebrated with ice cream sundaes.



The middle school wrapped up the Turkey Trot Week with hot apple 🍎 cider, the Turkey Trot Run, and 1st Quarter Awards Day! The final community derive project results will be shared next week!
