Students in the 8th grade STEM class finished up the bee unit today with their test and then they made honey-chocolate as a sweet treat!

As we embark on our much anticipated spring break, I want you to be aware of a change the week we return, April 11-14. Construction will start on the new garage by the green house while we are gone, but will likely still be happening the week we return from break. The lane to the Elementary Entrance will be closed to all traffic. This will impact several things: - Buses will drop off and pick up elementary students upstairs by the commons - Parents will need to park upstairs in the district lot and walk their children down to elementary or have them walk independently down to elementary. - Preschool students will be picked up and dropped off midday in the commons. They will wait between the doors with paraprofessionals . - Students with specialized transportation (i.e. the Yukon) will enter and exit the building through the commons. We appreciate you making the necessary changes to accommodate the construction for this short time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call the school. I hope your Spring Break is relaxing and fun for you and your family. We are in the home stretch of the school year and look forward to returning refreshed and ready to learn!

Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom invites are going out today! ✉️ They include dance guest request forms and after prom forms. All forms have due dates and should be returned to Mrs. M. 💃🏻🕺🏻Prom season is here!

The horticulture class has finished planting all the seeds and plant plugs in the greenhouse! Now they are waiting for the seeds to continue growing over spring break so they can start transplanting when they get back to school!

Due to field conditions todays (3/28) RRSM vs Eastland baseball game will be played at Eastland

Band and Chorus Large Group Contest times have been finalized! The band will perform at 8:00 PM and the Chorus will perform at 9:00 PM at Stockton High School on April 14th! Bus will depart from the Middle/High School Parking Lot at 6:30 PM. Please be here before then so we can depart on time!

Time has come for the River Ridge Middle School to present: The Jungle Book - the Musical on Thursday & Friday ~ March 30 & 31 at 6:00 pm! Come see Mowgli and all of his jungle friends as well as the evil tiger, Shere Khan! Fun for the entire family ~ tickets are $7 - General Admission and $5 - Students and Seniors.

Congratulations to all of our FFA members for their outstanding achievements this year. The annual awards banquet was held on Saturday evening to honor the year's accomplishments.

River Ridge middle schoolers had a great day exploring the Cave of the Mounds! Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring this event!

Today's (3/24) RRSM Baseball game vs Orangeville will be played in Elizabeth at the town field

Students in the Animal Science class used fungerpaint today to diagram different digestive systems. They painted a poultry, a ruminate and a non-ruminant system.

Tonight's (3/23) RRSM Baseball game vs Aquin will be played at the Elizabeth Town Diamond

The FFA Chapter competed in the Horticultre CDE in Forreston tonight! As a part of the contest they made a centerpiece arrangement that they got to take home.

Congratulations to the FFA Horticulture team on their first place finish in the section contest! Graci Vanderheyden placed 2nd overall as an individual. Other Wildcats in the top 10 were Cora Boop, Katie Cobine, Isaac Rife and Lucas Holland.
