The FFA Dairy and Livestock teams competed Saturday at the Carroll County Fairgrpunds in Milledgeville. The Livestock team placed 4th and the dairy team was 5th. Wyatt Ritchie places in the top ten in Dairy and Gracie Allen was in the top ten for Livestock. Nice job everyone!

The foods class traveled to Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids to learn about their Culinary Art Department and programs offered. Students had a chance to tour the facility/hotel and even get to make their lunch in the cooking labs. The kids did a great job making homemade pasta!

Sewing, Fashion and Design students traveled to Shullsburg to visit JACE Boutique, Enchanted Alterations and end our morning with a tasty treat from Second Chance Coffee. Students learned about altering clothing, careers in fashion/design, fashion marketing and more. Thank you to these businesses for hosting us!
