On Friday night high school students who met the incentive requirements for third quarter participated in a meal and Fighting Saints hockey game. Thank you to the RR PTO for providing funds as well as Charlie's Place, the Ahmedi family, for providing part of our dinner. We all had a great night and it was made extra special with a Saints win in overtime!

Ella Dittmar competed in State FFA Proficiencies in Decatur this weekend. Although she did not place in the top two we are very proud of her being one of the top five students in the State in her record book category!

Next week we will be participating in a fundraiser called Pennies for a Pup for a Stockton 3rd grader, Grayson Raab, to get a seizure alert dog. Each day next week, we are asked to bring in pennies (Mon), nickels (Tues), dimes (Weds), quarters (Thurs) and dollars (Fri) to donate to the cause. This will be competitive because the grade level that collects the most $$ will win donuts for their class!

The FFA Chapter held their annual awards banquet last night! Congratulations to all of our members on a great year with many fantastic accomplishments. STAR Greenhand was Sam Cobine, Outstanding Sophomore was Wyatt Ritchie, Outstanding Junior was Gracie Allen, and Outstanding Sr. was Sawyer Fry. Daly Niccum was the winner of the Blue and Gold award while Ella Dittmar won STAR in Ag Placement. Nice job to our "500" club members who each competed in a a minimum of five CDE's this FFA year: Wesley Haas, Sawyer Fry, Emmy Tiedt, Carson Dodd, Daly Niccum, Ella Dittmar, Gracie Allen, Sam Cobine, Hayden Diehl, Nick Cobine, Wyatt Ritchie and Christian Morhardt.

Congratulations to the FFA Horticulture team on placing first at last nights contest out of nine schools! We had three students place in the top ten; Sawyer Fry was 3rd, Lane Groezinger was 5th and Ella Dittmar was 7th. The team made some beautiful centerpieces for the practicum portion!
