What a wonderful Ag Day! Elementary students enjoyed interacting with farm animals, eating ice cream, planting flowers, running relay races and learning all about Ag! Thank you, FFA and Mrs Trone for providing us with these engaging opportunities! Thank you Jordan McLane from Citizens State Bank for sponsoring our event & adding to the fun!








4-H has several wonderful opportunities for youth in our county to fill their summer calendars. These opportunities are open to a wide range of ages, and students do not have to be in 4-H to attend. Check out the flyers for information about the Babysitting Clinic, How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse and Plentiful Pantries.




The FFA plant sale is only 10 days away! Warm weather and planting season is on the way! The first day of the sale is Saturday, the 6th, from 8-12 in the school greenhouse.




Thank you to everyone that attended and helped with our 1st Ties & Tiaras dance. A great time was had by all and we will be doing it again!

Sixth grade computer students are currently working on their Google Drawing skills with a fun minion project. They are finishing up their happy yellow minion and then will duplicate and convert it to the evil purple one. 🖥


Some of the low brass students traveled to Sterling Illinois today to work with Dr. Andy Rummel: Professor of Tuba and Euphonium at Illinois State University. Thank you to the Sterling Municipal Band for putting on this clinic for our area student musicians!


Congratulations to Luke Holcomb! Luke auditioned and will be playing Kurt in Timberlake Playhouse's production of The Sound of Music!!! Dates are June 29th- July 9th at Timberlake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll!


Congratulations to the State FFA Poultry team on their 5th place finish out of 45 teams! Arthur Horn placed 8th and Avery Engle placed 9th overall. There were 211 students who competed at State this year. Nice job Wildcats!




The high school Environmental science class taught an Earth day lesson to some elementary classes today.







On Wednesday, the high school choir and select band students went to the Elizabeth Lutheran Church and performed for the Jo Daviess County Retired Teachers Association! We are so thankful for the opportunity to give back to those who gave so much to this community! Thank you Mary Stayner for the invite!







Good luck to the State FFA Poultry judging team as the compete at the University of Illinois today!


This is a reminder that the 5-12 band and choir concert is this upcoming Monday April 24th! Band students should be in the band room no later than 6:30!

High school baseball and middle school track button and magnet orders are due to Mrs. Laity tomorrow!


The River Ridge family is certainly thinking of Eli, his family and the entire Stockton community in this difficult time. Our morning preschool took a photo before leaving and then the entire building (PreK-12) met in the gym to show our support. #purplesupport
