Good evening, due to the anticipated inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow, January 12th, River Ridge will be cancelling all classes and extracurricular events scheduled for BOTH January 12th and 13th. Tonight’s activities will still be happening as scheduled.
Once again there will be no school tomorrow, January 12th. All extracurricular events for tomorrow and Saturday have also been cancelled. Tonight’s activities are unaffected. Have a nice night and be safe this weekend.

Another year of Mrs.Tippett's first and second grade Reader's Theater performances is in the books! First grade performed Hanukkah Shmanukkah! and 2nd grade performed Lailah's Lunchbox. Well done!
SENIORS and parents/guardians: There is a Youtube Live presentation TONIGHT from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) that will walk you through the basics of the upcoming FAFSA. The presentation will review what is needed to create an FSA ID, sections of the FAFSA, and a Q&A.

I am SOOOOO PROUD of these 5th grade musicians! They knocked their first band concert out of the park and acted like they were professional musicians the entire time! I can't wait to see what else they pull out of their hats on their musical journey!
Santa Store 2023 was a huge success thanks to the hard work of the HS business class. We saw 164 shoppers and helped them pick out over 700 gifts for their friends and family! We hope you enjoy the holidays with your families and ask that you keep us in mind if you have any extra new or gently used gift bags and/or unused wrapping paper. We would love any donations as we prepare for Santa Store 2024. Happy Holidays!
