Check out the flyer below for information on the fall SAT! This is an optional test for juniors and will be offered during the school day. Juniors will still take the required ACT in the spring, so the SAT is an additional opportunity for students to showcase what they've learned in an effort to stand out to colleges and potentially earn more money in scholarships. See Ms. B. with any questions and to turn in your payments!

The Horticulture class toured Rocky Waters Winery today to learn about the grape growing process. Students picked grapes by hand and then saw how a grape combine works. Thank goodness for technology! Thank you to the Spahn family for the tour.

The 7th grade business exploratory students worked this week cutting and pressing all of the complimentary buttons for MS and HS fall athletics. Coaches have your buttons, so if you didn't get it today, ask them for it on Tuesday. Buttons and magnets are available to order for just $5 each. Fill out the included form and return ASAP to help these students learn about tracking and processing orders. Go Cats!

River Ridge's Creative Writing class got a visitor on Friday, Aug. 30. Mr. Dickerson's class met Casper, a Great Pyrenees mix, who was brought in by Ms. Lilly Dickerson, a third-grade teacher at Shullsburg Elementary School. After meeting the dog and learning more about him, the students had a narrative writing assignment about him.
