Two of our seniors have been nationally recognized by the College Board! Aizlynn Griffiths was recognized as a National Rural and Small Town Scholar and Lucius Mendenhall was named a National First-Generation Scholar.
These recognitions are given to students who have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 and were in Illinois' top 10% of PSAT/NMQST test takers. HUGE congratulations to these members of the Class of 2025! 🎉🎓

7th Grade mini finished their hand sewing monster project where they learned to complete 3 different stitches. Great work!

Join us Wednesday for a little tailgating before the Public Pep Assembly on the football field. You can find us behind the stands... Let the lip sync battles begin!

River Ridge FFA members attended the Northern Illinois Greenhand Conference at Highland Community College today. The Greenhands went through twelve different stations where they sharpened thier quiz bowl knowledge, learned how to tie a tie, learned how to give a good handshake, identified cuts of beef and more! The officer team led one of the stations and several sophomore members served as group leaders.

Greenhands are first year HS FFA members. Each year the new class of Greenhands gets to add their handprints to the wall!

Save the Dates! November 8th & 9th at 6pm come out to RRHS and see this hilarious show!

Good morning Wildcat families! Our lost and found table is overflowing with clothing from your house. If there's anything you recognize that belongs to you, please comment here and we will get it back to your student. Also, remind your kids to practice being responsible for their belongings. As the weather gets colder & we layer up, the L&F table gets overwhelmed. Thank you for your help with this!

More Leo the Duck fun! Mr Soat even got to meet Leo! Queen and King of the Mallardfest parade were crowned- look for them in the parade tomorrow!

Lots of pre- Mallardfest excitement at school today! Leo the largest duck we've ever seen was here to say hello to the kids before recess. Oh happy day!

Congratulations to the Mallardfest Coloring Page winners! These awesome artists have won a rubber duck, a duck call (they'll get that at the end of the school day) and a ticket for the bounce house at Mallardfest. You can find all of the kids' coloring pages in businesses in Hanover and the winning pages are hanging at Apple River State Bank! Congratulations and Happy Mallardfest!

Plan accordingly!

It's Game Day!
