FFA members in Indy! Our chapter drove down yesterday and visited Tuttle Orchards on the way. The tour guide taught the kids about value-added products that kept the orchard financially afloat when a late frost destroyed their crop two years in a row. Today we went to the first general session where they heard from Keynote speaker Kevin Wanzer and attended a workshop on "The most powerful word in the world."

A shout-out to our middle school Superstars! Tristen and Jazmine knocked it out of the park with their solo performances at Snack Theater this week. In literature class the sixth graders are reading Roald Dahl's autobiography, Boy. Today, students tried their hand at making Liquorice Bootlaces. Here's to hoping that no one came down with ratitis or started to grow a tail!

It's game day! It's also senior night for volleyball, golf, and cross country. We hope to see you there!

Don't they look interview ready?! Seniors conducted formal in person interviews with local business professionals to prepare for life after high school and interviewing for jobs. Thank you to those individuals for helping us out!
