The 1st quarter 8th grade STEM class completed their spaghetti tower challenge! Each student got 35 minutes to construct a free standing building using only uncooked spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. Kali was the winner in this group, her stable structure was 25 1/4" tall.

The FFA Chapter participated in a trap shoot competition on Saturday at the Scales Mound Gun Club. Our 5-member team had a great afternoon. Ashlyn was the team high scorer, just one point ahead of our Chapter President, Sawyer Fry.

We had five 7th graders attend the FFA Discovery Conference this year. Some of our Chapter officers led one of the break out sessions of the Conference as they developed their own leadership skills as well. The Conference was held at Stockton High School in conjunction with the Ag Ed Leadership Development Event. Natalie Keleher placed 3rd in Varsity and Allie Karberg was 2nd in the JV division.
