For the last 21 days, the students in Mrs. Fry's room have been watching these eggs in the incubator. We have candled them periodically. We watched them go from nothing, to veins , to dark spots in the eggs. Today, they are all set and ready to hatch. With any luck, in the next 24 hours, we will be able to see some baby chicks!

Had Vietnam Vets in the classroom today. Thank you to Tom, George, Roy, and Steve for their service and spending their time with us! The students asked awesome questions including what should be the most important thing the students should learn from the Vietnam War. One Vet responded that we should learn from what happened in Vietnam so we don't get into another guerilla war like Afghanistan. Another answered was that the students should vote and be active in government to help make decisions. Lastly, one said pay attention to Ukraine because we have lots of tough choices to make as a nation ahead of us. The fourth vet said he agreed with the other three.
It was a great learning experience for all. Thank you to all Vets!
