FFA 8th graders attended the Discovery Conference last night at Stockton HS! At this conference students had the opportunity to meet other students from across our section and participate in three break out sessions. The sessions were on teamwork, CDE's and the FFA emblem.
The River Ridge chapter officer team did a great job in leading the teamwork breakout session.

Elementary Homecoming Dress Up Days! (There's just a slight change from the middle school/high school version on one of them.) We can't wait to see all the creativity!

The Ag Mechanics class is busy in the shop this week! Many of the items they are making will be for sale at the Craft Fair!

Juniors will still take the required ACT in the spring, so the SAT is an additional opportunity for students to showcase what they've learned in an effort to stand out to colleges and potentially earn more money in scholarships. The Horticulture class toured Rocky Waters Winery today to learn about the grape growing process. Students picked grapes by hand and then saw how a grape combine works. Thank goodness for technology! Thank you to the Spahn family for the tour.

The 7th graders have been hard at work making their toolboxes in STEM class! First they had a review on reading the ruler then they learned how to use the miter saw, jig saw and drill press.
The horticulture class made a "Mug" design in class today. They did a great job!
