HS Art class on the Twenty Dirty Hands self guided tour. Amazing art and a wet but worth it adventure.

Thomas Harms finished his flag in Ag Mechanics today. It turned out great!

The 8th grade STEM class did an engineering challenge today. They had 15 minutes to build the tallest free-standing structure they could using only marshmallows and uncooked spaghetti noodles. Wesley Haas was the class winner!

River Ridge would once again like to congratulate our RRSM golfers on their STATE GOLF performances. Both golfers qualified for day 2 of the state event. Camden Flack finished 56th in the state. Thomas Hereau was your STATE CHAMPION with an amazing two day total of 143. We are beyond proud of these two and our entire golf team on an amazing year.

RESCHEDULED: The River Ridge NHS banquet is going to be rescheduled to Monday, October 16th at 5:30PM. The previously scheduled date of October 24th is now in conflict with volleyball regionals which are set by the state. In an effort to meet as many student needs as possible this rescheduled date has been determined to be the best available option. The event will still take place in the library. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The 8th grade FFA members attended the Discovery Conference last night in Stockton. They had three break out sessions which were led by high school students in order to introduce them to the FFA Organization. Our high schoolers led the break out session on teamwork and did a great job!

Yesterday, the sophomores participated in Manufacturing Day with a full day of exciting experiences! They started their day at Adkins Energy in Lena to tour the facility and learn about all of the jobs available at a biodiesel plant. Tammy's Piggly Wiggly provided us with a delicious lunch and then we made our way to the CTEA to meet with local manufacturing and trade professionals. Students were able to see a solar-powered golf cart and try their hand at VR welding, along with other hands-on activities. We were among over 300 sophomores involved, and a great day was had by all!

Early bird pricing for 23-24 yearbook orders is now OPEN!!! Forms went home with elementary students in folders today. Middle/High school students can pick-up a form in the office. Orders can also be placed online through Revtrak. Pre-sale pricing ends December 20.
