A busy creative art class for the kindergarten!
The 8th grade STEM class completed their engineering competition today. They had 20 minutes to make the tallest free-standing structure possible. . Sawyer Fry was the class winner, his structure was 25 inches tall. The only materials they were allowed to use were spaghetti noodles and marshmallows.

The Formatting class worked all last week to prepare for Staff Appreciation Week which starts today. Each day the class will roll out their graphic designs recognizing about 15 staff members here at River Ridge until all have been honored. Thank you to all of our Wildcat staff! Spanish 2 Learners are deep into conjugating irregular verbs in the past. Today we lightened it up by drawing giraffes and using the new grammar to write about them.
It might not feel like it yet, but soon enough it’ll be swimming weather!
The Ag mechanics class is currently working on the wood lathe making oens and on planter benches.
The FFA plant sale is only 10 days away! The horticulture class has done a great job this semester producing a wide variety of vegetables and beautiful bedding plants.
After lunch at Adobos, these Senior Spanish students enjoyed choosing an ice cream flavor at La Michoacana in downtown Galena today.
RRSM takes on West Carroll at 4:30 tomorrow at River Ridge. We will be honoring Coach Kumor before the game for his over 20 years coaching baseball at Hanover, River Ridge and then RRSM.
The stage is set for the Spring Concert tonight! Come join us at River Ridge at 7:00pm for our final concert of the year.
The Intro to Ag class hatched chick's in their class once again this year. The chick's will be given to students, with their parents permission, to raise at home. They will also be a part of Ag Day on April 29th.
