I would like to introduce myself as the River Ridge school social worker.  I have been a teacher, counselor, and school social worker for more than 20 years.  As the school social worker, my role is to support student academic and social/emotional learning. Throughout the school year, I may work with students in their classrooms, small groups, or individually to help improve social skills, make appropriate decisions, and assist with academic success.
