SERVANT LEADERSHIP

Servant Leadership is a group of dedicated students who are giving of their time in order to help others.  The Program is funded by Highland Community College in Freeport.  The students gain valuable and life long skills, along with college credit per semester. 

The group has helped with Middle School athletic events, picking up trash around the communities and tutoring.  They have also assisted with the Special Olympics and participated in Red Cross Hat Day and HERO wristbands sales.  In 2004-2005, the group sponsored the 1st ever blood drive at the school.  Last year two blood drives were held.  The group is sponsored by Doug Nicholas and Tracy Diestelmeier.
