Expectations

 

     

Expectations for the teacher:

    • To help students learn to the best of their ability and enjoy their school time.
    • To help students be responsible for themselves (their work and their behavior).
    • To encourage them to work both independently and cooperatively in groups.
    • To help each child improve.
    • To learn from the students the parents and my colleagues.
    • Create and maintain an environment full of excitement, interest and respect.
    • To teach the students social-emotional skills as well as academics.
    • To use various interesting methods for learning.

Expectations for students:

    • To bring all the necessary materials to school everyday.
    • To have a positive attitude towards studies and the school community.
    • To do and pass in homework everyday.
    • To respect themselves, others and property with words and actions.

Classroom Expectations:

    • Respect other people, yourself, our school and all property.
    • Treat others as you would like to be treated.
    • Work hard and do your best to achieve your hopes and dreams.

 

Expectations for the parents/guardians:

      To help the student understand the importance of the above expectations by talking about them and reinforcing them at home.

      To review homework everyday and notify the teacher if the work is too difficult for the students.

      To listen to you child read at home.
